Botswana Diamonds announced the preliminary kimberlite assessment on the Thorny River prospect in South Africa is encouraging, with projected volume of kimberlite in the area exceeding previous estimates, to ca. 2m tonnes. The company is now investigating mining options, and has yet to make an assessment on potential diamond grade.
