Another Massive 998ct Lucara Stone Destined For Antwerp

Lucara Diamond and HB Antwerp announce the discovery of another massive rough diamond, coming in at 998ct, destined for Antwerp, where it will be analyzed, cut and polished by HB Antwerp, as part of the partnership between the miner and manufacturer, in which HB Antwerp receives all 10.8ct+ rough stones produced at Lucara's Karowe mine in Botswana, in return for a share in the profit of the resulting polished. Lucara Diamonds, in its Q3 update reports relatively strong results amid the global pandemic, with total sales down just 3% and average price/ct down 6% to US$365/ct. The exclusive offtake deal with HB Antwerp is showing the first results in Q3 in terms of "regular, predictable revenue for its 10.8ct+ rough stones", the miner says. The report also mentions its Clara customer base doubled to 71 customers.
