Following the success of the Online Diamond Trade Show, held earlier this year, the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) and Israeli Diamond Institute (IDI), have re-joined forces to host a second edition of the show from the 14th till the 17th of September. The 'virus-free trade show' will take place on VDB Expo, a platform for conferences and trade shows created by and powered by Virtual Diamond Boutique.
"Due to the coronavirus, almost all trade fairs and buying opportunities this year have already been postponed or cancelled," writes the AWDC. “Traditionally September marks an important month in the industry’s calendar, and as the Hong Kong September show was postponed to a later date, we decided to organize a second edition that enables you to buy and sell diamonds from the comfort of your own office."
Exhibitors are Antwerp and Israeli traders, who will exclusively showcase natural diamonds. To improve the visitors’ experience, the organizers have added features such as Real-Time conversing via video-chat, a new category dedicated to Diamond Parcels, and an educational platform with targeted Digital Marketing solutions for both a B2B and B2C environment.
“The beauty of this online trade show is the ability to compare both price and quality, in a transparent environment, with trustworthy suppliers,” writes AWDC. Exhibitors are charged a nominal fee - a fraction of the cost of other online or onsite trade shows - and in return are exposed to potential buyers from across the world.
