The first International Gem & Jewellery Festival (IGJF) will start next Tuesday, running from September 13 to 18 at the Hong Kong Central Harbourfront Event Space, showcasing gemstones, pearls, diamonds, opals and fine jewelry. The show will provide competition for UBM's Gems and Jewellery Fair which takes place on the same days.
Over 230 suppliers from around the world will exhibit at the new exhibition, with more than 60% of them being first-time exhibitors in Hong Kong in September. The IGJF show will be the first-ever Hong Kong jewelry fair to be held in an outdoor venue located at the heart of Hong Kong's central business district. There will be three big fully air-conditioned and furnished marquees, housing several hundred booths.
The 2016 International Gem & Jewellery Festival is organized by Hong Kong-based International Jewellery Event Limited in collaboration with three prominent trade associations: Hong Kong Gold & Silver Ornament Workers And Merchants General Union, Hong Kong Gemstone Manufacturers Association and Hong Kong Pearl Association.
